Authorities
Revoke mint or freeze authority
Kept an authority at launch and ready to give it up? Revoke it here. Supply can then never grow, or no holder can ever be frozen, and anyone can check it on an explorer.
Revoking after launch
Why people revoke later
Some creators keep mint authority to finish distributing supply, then revoke once it is all minted. Others revoke when a listing site, scanner or community asks for proof. Mint authority covers when it makes sense.
What the transaction does
It sets the chosen authority field on your token to empty, and sends the fee, in one transaction your wallet signs. If the revoke fails, the fee is not taken.
What we check
Before your wallet opens we read the token on chain and only offer an authority your connected wallet actually holds. After it confirms we read the token again to prove the field is empty.
What it does not change
Liquidity, holder balances, transfer fees and metadata are untouched. Freeze authority explains what holders check next.
